Attorney Steven W. Pittman Elected Bar Commissions of the 17th Judicial District of Mississippi

Congratulations to Attorney Steven Pittman of Chatham Gilder Howell Pittman PLLC, who was recently elected to serve as Bar Commissions of the 17th Judicial District of Mississippi. Mississippi Bar Commissioners are selected for two-year terms via popular vote by fellow members of the bar and act as the governing body of the Mississippi Bar Association. As Bar Commissioner for the 17th Judicial District of Mississippi, Mr. Pittman will serve in a leadership position over five counties in North Mississippi.

Mr. Pittman is an accomplished attorney and partner at Chatham Gilder Howell Pittman PLLC. Since 1995, he has been admitted to practice in all courts in Mississippi and Tennessee and regularly handles complex cases involving personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, and criminal defense. He is an active member of the DeSoto County Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Mississippi Association for Justice, and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Pittman has also been honored as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association, was named among the 10 Best (Mississippi) by the American Institute of DUI/DWI Attorneys, and has been selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers® list multiple times, including inclusion in the Mid-South Super Lawyers® list in the area of Personal Injury – Plaintiff in 2020.
